It seems as though lately everyone is talking about the Enrapture rollers. The reviews have been amazing and they do look incredible however at £75 they might just break the bank! So I was on the hunt for a cheaper alternative. After searching online i found a few good reviews on Babyliss rollers and though I might aswell give them a go. I bought them from Superdug and they were £35. Still a lot of money but I thought of it as an investment. So I trotted out of Superdrug with a smile with a hint of guilt in my face (also they had no bags big enough so I was given a very chic black bag. Cringe!)
I used to have long hair but I had a new year new look sort of feeling and chopped it off, which im now regretting :(. So i have medium hair but still had a slight worry that there weren't enough rollers to fit around my head, but alas! There was!
They are fiddly to put in as they dont give enough clips so your stuck with these slides, which if you poke your head are very painful! I tend to use the big ones for the top of my head working down to smaller.
I leave them in for about 10 minutes whilst I do my makeup or tan in the evening. They can be used on damp and dry hair so I usually dry my hair a little and leave it with a bit of moisture so that the curls will last longer.
This is the first curl! Look how perfect it is!!!!!
After I have taken them all out i give it a brush through with my fingers and rearrange my parting. And this is the finished look! Very Millie Makintosh esque i think.
I have now put away my tongs and my rollers are my weapon of choice. As I have medium length hair I am going to try them on my friend as she has very long hair to see what the finished look will be.
Overall I am very happy with these rollers, but I'm still tempted my the enrapture rollers so I guess they haven't fully fulfilled their purpose. The only downside to them are that they don't provide enough clips and them metal slides are annoying!
Whats your weapon on choice for creating effortless curls?
